Discover the delicious cuisine of Korea!
You've heard of K-Pop, and K-Drama, it's now time to discover K-Foods, the flavourful, sometimes spicy, but always delicious food of South Korea. You'll be cooking with Kym Chambers, a professional chef who live and worked in Korea, Japan, Indonesia, Japan and France and has immersed herself in diverse culinary cultures. Kym offers well-structured cooking classes that are both educational and enjoyable.
Menu:
  • Kimchi Sundubu Jjigae - soft tofu stew
  • Bulgolgi - Marinated strips of beef served in lettuce
  • Korean Fried Chicken
  • Ttteokboki - Spicy rice cake
  • Japchae - Glass noodles with carrot, mushrooms and spinach
  • Korean Rice
  • Korean Lettuce Salad
  • Dessert: Hotteok - fried pancake with honey and sesame seeds
In our unique hands-on learning environment, everyone is broken into small teams, and everyone makes a different dish under the guidance of the instructor.
Once the cooking is complete, you'll sit down at the end and share the food in a massive social feast.
We are fully BYO and do provide glassware if needed (for large groups we ask that you bring an Esky as fridge space is limited).

Kym was a very calming presence in the kitchen and great organisation. Time to lent a hand with a number of dishes. Very much enjoyed the class, the twice fried chicken with sticky sauce was amazing.

It was a surprise birthday gift for my friend, so fingers and toes were crossed it would be a fun night. Kym our lovely chef was organised, informative and friendly and set a lovely tone for the evening. We all then participated in the preparation and eating of some very yummy food. Kym also made provision for me(vegetarian) substituting shiitake for the chicken so I could still enjoy all the flavours. We brought along some soju to celebrate too (byo) and ended up really enjoying the whole experience. Thanks so much Kym and we look forward to another fun culinary night soon x

After preparing your dish and learning some new recipes, you will all sit down to share the food in a massive feast!
Our Cooking Classes in Perth have you cooking for up to two hours in our open-plan kitchen and we keep our groups small so you get plenty of one-on-one time with the instructor to ask questions, learn tips and tricks, and of course meet new people!
