Looking for a creative outlet? Join our vibrant candle making class in Adelaide where you'll make the art of crafting your very own sand art candle. In this class, you will learn how to create a custom candle by layering colourful palm wax into unique patterns and shapes.Palm wax is a substance that burns for much longer than soy wax or beeswax, giving you more time to enjoy your creation. As the candle burns, its surface transforms into delicate snowflake-like patterns, earning these candles the nickname "ice flower candles."The process starts with a simple sketch on paper, where your creative vision takes shape. The wax is then divided and carefully blended with different colours to match your design. A dash of fragrance is added, infusing the candle with a delightful scent. With the help of some simple tools, you’ll shape the wax into your desired form within a glass container, bringing your vision to life.This class is perfect for those new to candle making. It's a fun, creative and safe activity that’s sure to delight. Whether you're planning a date night, family gathering, bridal shower or birthday party, making sand art scented candles adds a unique and memorable touch to any special occasion.Please note: This class is an experiential project, focusing primarily on the user experience, with a basic introduction to candle making. If you are looking to learn comprehensive and professional candle-making knowledge, please consider other courses. Thank you for your understanding.
Please note:
Public dates for this class require at least 2 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the session;
if that happens, we'll inform you and let you choose between a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

Polisu is the name composed of the three most important elements in arts, "point", "line", and "surface". It's not only limited to painting but also reflected in many other artworks. We put together a team of ceramicists and artists to bring you the most enjoyable way to learn pottery, tufting, drawing and other handcrafted works. We host everything from one-off pinch pot sessions to tufting classes. For larger groups, our studio can be booked out for private sessions.
