Have you been looking for that deliciously mouth-watering Camembert you tried that one time but can’t seem to find it anywhere? Learn how to make your very own homemade Camembert cheese in this workshop with Cultured Cheese School in the Barossa Valley.

You will be guided throughout this cheese making experience by Erin, who will help you create a delicious round of Camembert cheese that could rival your favourite brand! You will also learn about how to store your cheese for maturation, as this is a very important step for Camembert cheese-making.

At the end of this class, you’ll enjoy a spread of various cheeses and a tasting of Atze’s Corner’s award-winning wines. You even get to take home the recipe you use in this class, as well as some special tips and tricks to help you recreate this cheese time and time again.

Please note: You will need a fridge that maintains an 11-15 degree temperature for correct cheese maturation. Wine fridges or inkbird adapters are suitable, conventional household fridges will not reach the necessary temperature. Please contact Cultured Cheese School if you have any further questions.

Cultured Cheese School and Atze’s Corner Wines have you covered! Gather amongst the wine barrels of Atze’s cellar door for a relaxed fun morning learning the art of cheesemaking.

These are great workshops designed for beginners either looking to have a fun foodie experience or wanting to learn how to make cheese at home. Cultured Cheese School’s workshop, paired with a take-home cheesemaking kit will set you up with the confidence and skills to make cheese like Feta and Halloumi at home.

We will take care of the materials, all you need to bring is a willingness to learn and be ready to make your very own cheese. You will take home everything you make including the recipe and notes from the day.

We use Barossa’s 100% Jersey milk and during the three-hour workshop, Barossa coffee and cakes are on offer. When the workshop is finished enjoy a leisurely cheese platter and a tasting of Atze’s Corner Wines.

Your host Erin Jones, has been making cheese for over 17 years from her home to state of the art cheese factories across Australia, and is ready to share her expertise with you!
