Are you eager to explore the world of fluid art painting but unsure where to begin? If you've watched countless tutorials and attempted to create your own pieces without success, look no further! Join our acrylic pouring class in Mandurah for a fun and engaging workshop led by an experienced and friendly instructor.
In this 2.5-hour session, you can choose which technique you wish to master from a variety of well-known options, including the popular Dutch Pour (the one with the hairdryer), Flip Cup, Ring Pour, Straight Pour, Dirty Pour, Swiping with cells and lacing, and more! You'll learn how to mix your own pouring medium and paints to achieve the ideal consistency for your chosen technique. Understanding how to layer your paint in the cup and how to pour it will significantly impact your final artwork.
Our patient instructor will guide you through the basic techniques, demonstrating how to apply a beautiful base coat on your canvas and then add intricate designs with a stunning array of colours. You'll also have the opportunity to unleash your inner artist by using a mini blower (if you choose the Dutch Pour technique) or even your own breath to manipulate the paint and create captivating abstract art. This workshop encourages creativity and experimentation with different techniques to achieve unique results.
What makes this workshop special is the small class size, allowing for individual attention with a maximum of five participants. This ensures our dedicated teacher can offer personalised assistance to each student, making it a perfect opportunity for anyone looking for a fun activity or a relaxing way to express their artistic side.
Please note that you will be working on two 12x16 inch canvases, which will remain wet for a few days after the session. You can leave them at the teacher’s studio for later pickup (allow at least a week). This is a wonderful chance to showcase your newfound talent and add a touch of creativity to your living space.
So why wait? Join us for the acrylic pouring class in Mandurah and discover the joy of creating mesmerising fluid art. Get ready to have fun, get a little messy, and learn a new skill that will leave you with stunning artworks to cherish!

Hi, my name is Rhonda and I've always had a passion for doing anything creative. I'm a full-time photographer of 15 years and work from my home studio. As I grew up, I always preferred to be learning how to sew, paint, arrange flowers, cook, read or take photos.
I've worked in a scrapbooking craft shop and ended up teaching card making and scrapbooking for a few years. I've been making my own soaps and candles as well for the past year. Pretty much my whole house is one big craft room with all my paints and props that I use for my photography.
A few years ago I decided I wanted to get back into painting again and try out fluid art and I spent hours watching tutorials while I was editing photos. I then spent a lot of time experimenting with different paints, mediums, and techniques to see what I loved in the end result. One of the things I love about fluid art is that you never know what the end result will be no matter how much you try to plan it out.
When I started posting my painting on social media I started getting requests for commissioned paintings and was asked if I did workshops. So I thought why not! I've taught classes before and I love sharing what I know with others. I hold the classes in my home so they are only small classes and great for a group of friends and it's easy for me to be able to teach you better if there are only a few people.
I love chatting to people and I'm a very chilled out person who will welcome you into my home to come and have a few hours of fun relaxing and having fun!
