Looking for relaxing classes on the Mornington Peninsula? Why not learn the calming practice of Japanese flower arranging at this beginner-friendly Ikebana course and create your very own minimalist flower arrangement from scratch!

Throughout this three-part course, held over three weeks, you will learn the mindful elements of this Japanese tradition, see some demonstrations and be given guidance as you work through your own arrangements. During each session, your registered Sogetsu Ikebana teacher will guide you through the creation of one or more stunning Japanese style flower arrangements.

Immerse yourself in the meditative experience of arranging flowers, branches, foliage and stems for maximum impact.

You'll finish each session with a sense of calm, a host of new skills to use in future projects and a beautiful Ikebana Japanese flower arrangement to display with pride.

Practising Ikebana under her official Japanese teaching name, Shoto, Aileen is a qualified Sogetsu Ikebana teacher with a background in art and information technologies.
