I'm an experienced potter - I've been throwing on the wheel for seven years. I love to share my 0passion for pottery, and the challenges and joy it brings.

I was once an academic and now I work from my studio in St Peters, Sydney. Throwing pots, making glazes, treading the never ending path of learning how to be a potter. It's engrossing, occasionally exhilarating and often frustrating but apart from my kelpie and of course my son, there's nothing I love more than sitting at my wheel.

Fabulous experience! Cool little studio with easy parking / public transport in a great area with good cafes nearby. A great day out with my friend - a wonderful mindful experience immersing oneself with the clay and enjoying the process! Thank you Kristin for a wonderful learning experience!

Myself and my sister went to a class with Kristin through Bento.
It was a great introduction into pottery, as beginners it took as some time to understand how to work the wheel etc and Kristin was really patient.
We were able to try multiple times and were shown all the basic techniques with wheel throwing.
It was great that we were able to pick our two best pieces in which Kristen is going to fire and glaze for us.
Kristen was really kind and approachable and it made a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning.

A great beginner friendly class! If you’re nervous or don’t know where to start in pottery this is the place for you.
I learnt all the basics and was able to make a few pieces to keep!
