What you'll do

At this crafty pottery class for beginners, we'll focus on all things wheel throwing and make some beautiful ceramic items, all in one convenient session.
You'll learn to:
- Make a wheel-thrown vessel
- Decorate it with textures
- Make creative handles
- optional add-on to take it home
This ceramics class includes wheel throwing tutoring only. There is an optional add-on of $45 for cleaning up your piece, engraving your name, clear glazing, and two firings, five weeks after your experience.
This is great for beginners keen to have a go at throwing clay on the wheel but don't necessarily want to keep what they have made. You can also save your item, and book a follow-up session at the Voart Studio.
This wheel throwing experience is perfect for creative team building activities and an arty bachelorette party. Whatever the occasion, make it one full of creative energy, laughter and relaxation!

Please note:
- Public class bookings: The class runs for one-and-a-half hours. A minimum of two people is required to run the public class, otherwise, the class will be rescheduled with 24 hours notice period.
- Private group bookings: The class runs for two hours. Minimum 6 people. You can BYO drinks and nibbles for your private party. Payments can be bill split if needed.

Being an artist my whole life, I have been creating pottery for over 12 years. I got back into it after a bout of cancer when I was 30. Im drawn to the calming and fun aspect of the wheel throwing process. :)
