Enjoy the online class - after booking, you'll get a pre-recorded video with instructions. You're welcome to ask the teacher any questions you have.

Are you a fanatic about all things organic and looking for creative things to do at home? Learn to transform natural ingredients into exotic Christmas soaps loaded with essential oils at this fun, hands-on online class.

Guided by friendly teacher Vishakha, you'll watch step-by-step demonstrations of cold process soap making with ingredients like organic olive, coconut and essential oils that not only smell divine but are good for your body and well-being!

Once you've picked up plenty of soap making skills, you'll get hands-on with your ingredients and use a silicon mould to make embeds to decorate your soap loaf and produce a beautiful effect when cut into vertical bars.

Your teacher will also provide tips for drying, cutting, stamping and packaging your handmade soaps as you soak in the scents of lemongrass essential oil and sink into your therapeutic experience.

You can choose between making a whole soap loaf that cuts into 14-16 individual soap bars or start small by individually pouring soap batter into a tray to make you six larger bars. You can cut the soap loaf into the bars after a week and they take 6-8 weeks to fully cure.

After a couple of days of drying the soap, you'll have an assortment of handmade bars to enjoy or give to your family and friends as Christmas gifts!

I have always had that intuitive urge to 'create' something with a purpose: a new vegetarian recipe, a cake that would still be calorie-friendly, a soap that would nourish my skin with essential oils, a paining that would tell a story of my childhood, a candle that would smell divine?

By day, I am a fulltime ICT Professional helping product teams build great software applications that deliver an awesome User experience. In my moonlight hours and occasionally on weekends, I enjoy this experience of facilitating crafts workshops at my adorable apartment thereby follow my own passion (thank God I found a way), do what I love (or else no point yea), exercise my entrepreneurial skills (or at least I would think so), stay emotionally healthy (this one is real), meet new people (when Sydney reportedly is world's 3rd worst city to make new friends), and do my bit of promoting mental health.

In my journey of hosting the picnics, cooking, baking, fitness and crafts experiences in Sydney, I have come across a range of creative people, many of whom discovered things to be a fun hobby and some who have taken it further and started selling stuff online.

My pursuit of the little joys of life continues as I look forward to share these experiences with you!
