Finished product

Finished Product

Finished , fired and glazed mugs are fully functional, microwave and dishwasher safe.

In this ceramic painting workshop, you'll paint pre-made stoneware mugs, produced in our studio, using underglazes and ceramic stains suited for fine illustration.
The focus is on thoughtful, hand-painted design rather than quick decoration. Participants work with brushes and ceramic pigments to develop their own imagery, guided by the workshop artists—all practising, classically trained makers.
All designs shown are original artworks by the workshop artists. Each mug is unique—no two pieces are ever the same.
  • Paint directly onto functional stoneware mugs
  • Use underglazes and ceramic stains designed for detailed surface work
  • Develop original illustrations and motifs
Clear glazing and kiln firing are included in the price. Please note: Finished pieces require time to be glazed and fired, with collection approximately 4 weeks after the workshop.
This experience is suited to adults seeking a calm, focused and creative process, with room for both guidance and independence.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 3 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

Ildy Izso

Ildy grew up surrounded by making. Her father’s upholstery workshop was her first studio, where an early love for hands-on creativity took shape. With a background in illustration, visual arts, animation, and teaching, she enjoys exploring different mediums and sharing that curiosity with others. As a teenager, Ildy experimented with ceramics painting and briefly considered it as a career path before taking a different creative direction, though her love for the medium never left. Today, she brings that experience into her ceramics painting classes, creating warm, welcoming, judgment-free spaces where people can slow down, play, and reconnect with their creativity.

Hi, I'm Irina.
I like to introduce myself as a sculptor, although I'm engaged in different art disciplines too. I have never had another profession, nor have I wanted one. I fell in love with three-dimensional art at a very early age which came to me naturally, as I was born in a family of artists. It was the world I've grown up in, a measure of value around me.
I have graduated from Fine Arts, majoring in Sculpture, and with a bit of luck, I had a chance to work internationally and gain great experience in different industries and media. Cooperating with professionals from other creative fields has perfectioned my skills and broadened the views of my artistic expression.
I have tried to gather all the projects I am engaged in on this website, showcase it, sell and teach my art. Always open for the new projects with fellow creatives, just get in touch.
