What you'll do

Join our unique pottery workshop in the Hawkesbury where you'll learn the art of hand-building through traditional and contemporary techniques. Throughout the workshop, you’ll create functional and/or sculptural pieces, using methods like pinching, coiling and slab building on various projects.

Explore foundational hand-building methods such as pinching, coiling and slab building
Experiment with textures, patterns and surface decorations to express your creativity
Engage in projects for step-by-step instructions on creating specific ceramic pieces
Receive personalised guidance and support from our instructor to develop your hand building skills

Don't worry if you're new to ceramics---our workshop is designed to cater to all experience levels. You will work with clay, underglazes and surface finishing to bring your artistic vision to life. The class will be a collaborative and supportive environment, where you can feel inspired and encouraged to explore your creative potential.

What you'll get

All necessary materials to use, including clay, tools, and underglazes, are provided.
Participants are welcome to bring their own tools or special materials if desired.
Your finished ceramic piece will be bisque fired after the class. Pick up is from Kurmond NSW or delivery can be arranged for a small cost.
