Our teacher Freya was clear with her instructions, encouraging of our artistic efforts and very patient. Our Turkish Mosaic Lamp class was heaps of fun.
The delicious tea and delectable Turkish Delight were a welcome bonus! Can't wait to put the finishing touches (the plaster grout) to my lamp and use it! Highly recommend this class. A great way to spend a winter afternoon.

A Fun Afternoon
Merryl is a great teacher. Gave us some basis and them let our creativity loose! Can’t wait to see how my bowl turns out in a couple of weeks!

This was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. Our teacher Eddie was very patient, letting us just keep trying on the wheel over and over! I reckon I threw 10 pots and kept 3, but I really enjoyed it. Definitely recommended.

Group was 12 people, with another 10 doing a wheel throwing class in the same space. Our instructor Ling, was great - moving us through the first few steps of preparing our clay, and making a base for our project. Then we all just went at it!
I really enjoyed watching the bowl take shape, and the advice from Ling on making it, including how to smooth the surfaces, was invaluable. I was thrilled we got to glaze our objects too. Can't wait to see if it survives the firing process when I pick it up in 2 weeks' time!
Highly recommended - in fact I've just booked a wheel throwing class next month!
