This workshop is excellent. The tools necessary for the workshop were all supplied (and kits available for purchase afterwards). The instructions were clear, and although there was a lot to cover, everyone ended up with a completed piece at the end of the day. The classroom at Reverse Garbage is an excellent venue with good access and amenities. Would very definitely recommend to anyone who wants to learn about kintsugi!

Loved it! Putting the powder together and using the beautiful suribachi to grind the sesame seeds was an interesting experience, and I loved the explanation of all the spices. Word of caution though - because all the powders were pre-measured I put in alllll the chilli powder, and it was very spicy! Would suggest adding the chilli to taste rather than adding the whole measure at once. That said it is a delicious addition to our cooking!

Excellent class. The venue is easy to get to and there is great parking in the side street next to it. Great facilities and the instructions provided were really clear. By the end of the class we all had delicious daifuku to enjoy with green tea. Recommended!

Absolutely loved the class, Sumi is very friendly and very informative. I would not have thought it possible to learn make such exquisite wagashi in one afternoon, but under her guidance they appeared as if magic. Thank you Sumi!
