Miyoko led me through the process patiently so I feel confident in doing this again at home. Very happy with the class and what I produced and the great information and tips provided by Miyoko. Nice venue.

Niki Lawrence's Zentangle class was a very enjoyable introduction in the art. She showed us 3 different designs on the small card and we were able to finish them while online or later. The only thing which would improve the online course would be if she could use a darker pen because the image was a bit faint.

The Surry Hills venue was good - a short walk from central station, and the 10 of us had plenty of room on a long table to work independently. This 'crash course' is a good way to understand the process of water colouring and to appreciate how it differs from using oils and acrylic paint. We started with some practical exercises helped and then attempted something of our own design. This is an introduction only, and I think artistic results depend on being able to draw well to start with, and then a lot of practice with the water colouring. It was a fun evening and I enjoyed learning something new with Malou.
