I liked the studio. It was bright and colourful. There was enough space, tools, and yarn for everyone booked. The teachers were helpful as you went along, but could really use some organization with the whole process of getting people started.
Some more direction in what types of designs work would be helpful, as simpler tends to go better.
There was a wide range of colours in yarn, and multiple spools of the same colour so no one had to fight for/wait for a colour they wanted.
The music was loud and mildly distracting, and definitely would put some people off - but I liked that they did have music playing.

The teacher was sweet but leaned a little to much on written materials rather than working with the students. The venue was lovely with gorgeous examples of the art all around, and in a lively part of town, but the parking was abysmal. They had turkish delight and tea for the students, but nothing was provided for those who avoid caffiene - the tea was caffinated and the turkish delight was rolled in green tea. I would have loved to try other Turkish foods, if they were available.

We were not sent home with the grouting kit - it will be mailed - and they were out of several colours of beads. Not enough time was given to explaining how to transport home while stuff dried, and no explanation was given of how to do the grouting (I'm assuming that directions will come with the kit) or put together the lamp.

Sadly, I think they were a bit lackluster about the class because we were told the storefront in Canberra is closing in a couple of weeks. Hopefully they'll be more excited when they're teaching classes.

Overall, I'm pleased with how my lamp shade came out, and the experience wasn't awful, I can just see ways to improve it. :)
