I have always loved wagashi sweets so it was a beautiful tranquil experience to learn how to shape these myself and learn three different seasonal designs.

Bettina kindly organised a private class for myself, my son aged 9 and daughter aged 3 as we wanted to experience learning ceramics together as a family. This is something we really appreciated as it’s not offered elsewhere. We loved being able to work with the wheel together and Bettina helped each of us to learn as we were all at different skill levels as well as ages.

This is a small studio space so with a small class each student was able to learn a lot from the teacher. Bettina also allows each student to explore the subject with their own creative approach which is important. A very wam and inviting class to participate in.

Erica created a really beautiful private event for my mother and I to celebrate her birthday. Her knowledge about porcelain was wonderful and the setting was very peaceful for this class with a picnic where we were able to design a couple of teacups that reflected our personalities.

It was a peaceful experience to work on my calligraphy practice from an expert teacher who clearly understands the intricacy of this art form.
