I booked this course looking to see if welding was something I could do, and something I could take further. I'm trying to find a hobby, so don't want to spend too much time or money on long courses, rather I was chasing a quick introduction.
I found this course perfect in that the teacher was laid back, yet very knowledgeable. He combined supervision with independent learning, in a way that created a relaxed learning environment.
If you are going on this course with the expectation of taking away a piece of souvenir artwork, it may not be for you. However, if you go into the course purely to learn technique and discover a interest for a subject, then this would be for you

Ian was excellent to work with and learn from.
We made to pieces, a chopping board and a toy car. Both using different wood and both pieces finished well enough to display with pride!
The location was great, scenic and relaxing
I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great day out and/or looking to learn new skills
