Another inspiring class! It’s wonderful to see so many different ideas & objects created in the one space. People made vases, platters, bowls, candle-holders, dishes & ornaments, all in different patterns, colours & designs. Lots of help is available for those trying things for the first time.

This class is exciting, with all the possibilities of colour, shape & design choices. The techniques are explained in full & individual attention is given by Merryl & staff, to achieving your particular bowl or vase. There are many examples to see & choose from.

I find the Jewellery workshop very inspiring with the range of colours, textures, shapes & sizes available. I love using the dichroic glass as well, because it has a metallic look & comes in beautiful colours & patterns. You can create lovely abstract designs using small offcuts of it, as well.
Merryl & Georgina were very knowledgeable & helpful. So much to learnit’s exciting!

This is an inspiring class. I have made a few platters & vases & have loved every one of them. At the beginning, there is an extensive explanation of the different techniques & demonstrations on how to cut the glass & what effects you can achieve, plus examples to look at. After that, Merryl & staff are very helpful & will give you guidance on how to achieve your individual project, with the myriad of colours available & a choice of moulds to use (for platters, vases, bowls etc). The time goes by quickly, so It is probably good to go with some ideas of colours etc that you’d like to use in your project. Everything you need is provided, plus tea, coffee & yummy biscuits!
