Terrarium Workshop: Terrarium Options Class

Looking for things to do in the Perth Hills? Learn all about the art of terrariums at this unique terrarium workshop!

When booking, decide whether you will create a beautiful terrarium (with a choice of two different jars, a bespoke terrarium lamp, or a terrarium that includes a stunning resin pond scape. The choice is yours.

Please ensure you choose the terrarium option you'd like to do at the class from the drop-down menu when booking (Classic, Resin Scape, or Lamp)!

What is included in the workshop?

Everything you need to make your own beautiful terrarium.

Class Terrarium Option:
A choice of two different jars, one with a wooden lid and one with a glass lid.

Terrarium Lamp Option:
A terrarium lamp jar with a lampshade. The lampshade and accompanying lamp base will already be wired up and ready to use, once you have perfected your terrarium inside the jar. Includes the jar, lampshade, lamp base with a USB pluggable switch and globe.

Resin Pond Terrarium Option:
A terrarium jar with a pretty, round resin scape that looks like a miniature pond with rocks. You'll learn how to place your resin pond into your jar and decorate around it to create a truly unique terrarium. (Please note, the resin scape will already be created by me, prior to the class. We do not pour resin in the class).

All options include:

• Your terrarium jar, plants, all terrarium layers, decorative rocks, ornaments, moss, and springtails (essential terrarium bugs you’ll learn all about at the workshop).
• Your very own terrarium making and maintenance tools, in a luxurious black velvet bag (valued at $25), to use and then take home to keep!
• A grazing platter full of delicious snacks, to share with your fellow terrarium makers, while you admire your creations. Plus tea, coffee, and hot chocolate.
• Expert advice on creating and maintaining your terrarium, including learning all about the essential layers required, which plants work well and which ones don’t, how much and how often to water, what maintenance is required, and all the tips and tricks to ensure success.

• Terrarium maintenance tools (long-handled scissors, long-handled straight and curved tweezers in a black velvet drawstring bag).
