What you'll do
Looking for fun things to do in Perth? Head on over to our beautiful studio in Subiaco and learn how to create a textured golden tree painting!
In this hands-on class, you will use painting tools to scrape, imprint and move beautiful gold and bronze paint on the canvas.
You will learn with palette knives, brushes and scraping tools in a small class with individualised attention.
With support from your teacher Emily, you will be guided through the step-by-step process of creating this painting from scratch.
By the end, you can take home your textured masterpiece, as well as confidence to continue growing this newfound, creative hobby! Many clients continue on with Emily, learning to use these techniques to develop on bigger canvases.

Emily has been a teacher with the Education Department for 16 years, and now enjoys helping others use the creative process to heal, learn and feel joy.
Small groups ensure individual attention and encouragement. Our studio has regular clients who are supported on their own art journey.
Studio artists offer further courses/workshops. They are all experienced and passionate about inspiring others to learn their skill/creative expertise.
