What you'll do
Our newest class is just in time for spring! Join us in the studio for an intimate workshop to paint a vase with underglazes and curate your own native flora posy.Our florist, Leonie, will talk you through creating a posy from native flora, designed to take home with you on the day and to dry perfectly for you to put in your vase when it's ready a few weeks after the workshop.We wheel-throw each vase out of a beautiful creamy white clay, and it is fired again after you have painted on the underglazes with a glossy clear glaze. This makes the vessel waterproof and strong.Bring your own vino and join us in the studio for a relaxing afternoon.

I am Karina and I am a ceramic artist, business owner and teacher based in Crows Nest on the upper north shore in Sydney. My passion for ceramics started out as a hobby in 2016 and I opened Klaypots Studio in 2022.Klaypots Studio is an intimate pottery studio in Crows Nest. We teach customers how to make something beautiful with your hands and specialise in one-off classes, six-week courses and private clay parties.
