What you'll do
Spring is the perfect time for kids to get creative with colour and nature! In this full-day workshop, they’ll use fluid art techniques to design three vibrant terracotta planters. Each child will also craft matching plant stakes and take home seeds and soil—everything they need to start their own mini garden.This hands-on class is perfect for kids aged 8–12 (Year 3 and above) who love art, craft, and getting a little messy. Each child will leave with three beautifully decorated planters and matching stakes, plus seeds and soil so they can easily plant at home once their pots are fully dry. Parents will love that kids walk away with pieces that are both creative and functional—projects they’ll continue to enjoy and use well beyond the holiday break.What they'll learn:
- How to experiment with fluid art paint techniques
- How to shape and decorate their own plant stakes
- How to plant & care for seeds in their decorated pots.
- Our secure space is only accessible to participants.
- All instructors have valid Working with Children Checks.
- Parents must drop off & pick up children in person and complete a short admission form.

This workshop is perfect for children aged 8 to 12 years.Please note this class is not suitable for children under 8 years old or those in Years K–2, as the activities involve fine motor skills and fiddly techniques that younger children often find too challenging.
