What you'll do
Enjoy a relaxed and creative morning making your own handcrafted garland from a mix of fabrics and wooden beads. You’ll cut petals, leaves, and other shapes using our templates, then thread them together with beads to create a garland approximately 180 cm long.Your garland can be hung vertically or horizontally — perfect as a Christmas decoration or as a soft, textural accent in any room all year round.We’ll provide a mixed selection of Christmas fabrics, calico, and natural wooden beads. You’re welcome to bring your own fabrics if you’d like to match a particular colour palette or décor. Our fabric selection will vary, so if you have something specific in mind, BYO is best.This is a wonderful workshop to do with a friend or family member and a lovely option for creative kids aged 12 and up. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult with their own booking.What You’ll Learn

Children under 16 must be accompanied by a participating adult with their own booking.Trims are optional and best suited to those with a little sewing experience.

Made by Me Workshop is about helping people to connect with their "inner creative" and have some fun while making beautiful things from quality materials in our friendly & vibrant studio space in the heart of the inner west!Established in 2017 after Rebecca Doyle decided to take a career break and chose to revisit her childhood love for arts & crafts. Rebecca grew up in a large family where money was tight, after school activities where mostly homegrown and usually involved a sheet of cardboard, a glue stick and some glitter! It is probably no surprise to learn that Rebecca followed a creative path to study Fashion & Textile Design at University!After a few more decades (than Rebecca will publicly admit to) and a long and varied career in the fashion industry, Rebecca wanted to get back to creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind objects - Made By Me Workshop is the result of where this path led.Rebecca loves that moment of pride that comes over each participant's face when they look at what they have created and say to themselves "Wow - I made this & I love it!"Made by Me Workshop run a variety of creative workshops, hen’s parties, private parties and corporate events from their warehouse space in St Peters including Resin Art, Resin Jewellery & Mould Making, Soap Making, Terrazzo Homewares, Punch Needle, Macrame and many more.
