Graffiti Class: Canvas Sesh

Sydney’s sip and paint graffiti experience!

2 hours Location Penrith Class size 10 to 18 guests   $85

There’s something incredibly satisfying about swapping a tiny brush for a spray can and a brick-walled brewery vibe. Here is why you need to get your crew together for this.
Sip and Spray explores paint and sip graffiti styles with active graffiti artists and O.G. graffiti artist Mistery. Forget staying inside the lines. Spray painting is all about bold moves, vibrant colors, and pure self-expression.
There’s a unique thrill in learning how to handle the pressure of the nozzle. Once you master your first "fade" or "drip, " you’ll feel like an absolute pro.
At Sip & Spray you don’t need to be an artist.
The instructors at Sip & Spray guide you through the basics of graffiti history and technique, so even "beginner baddies" walk away with something epic.
At our Canvas Session you will:
  • Personalise your tag
  • Practice with spray paint
  • Custom Detailing your take home Canvas
You get to sip on a crisp Drink West Lager or a refreshing seltzer while you create. It’s the perfect "liquid courage" for your creativity!
Ready to unleash your inner Artist? Grab your mates, book a spot, and get ready for a Sip & Spray sesh that’s as bold as the West itself.
Please ensure you check the description for the specifics so you know what to expect.

  • 5/5 from Aditi Kidambi, attended Nov 2024: Matthew is an awesome teacher. I respect the fact that he shared some of the work he has done in the world. We learnt how to tag and got to work on our own canvas with Spray paint stencils and POSCA markers. In a way it was a great way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon.
  • 5/5 from Fiona Wolf, attended Aug 2024: Super fun and creative. Good to learn different techniques from genuine street artists Thanks! Fi and Ryder
  • 5/5 from Jordarna Clayton, attended Jul 2024: I contacted Sip and Spray to organise a work event along the theme of Grinchmas. This is Christmas in July along with the Grinch being fun, quirky and cheeky! Marie and Mysty were both friendly and professional from the beginning. They went to the trouble to research the Grinch and the history. He is a true artist and made it easy and fun for all my guests. I highly recommend this activity, we all had a fun time.

  • 5/5 from Jasmine Jahani, attended May 2023: A group of us booked sip and spray for my partners surprise birthday and it proved to be a great decision. Mystery was a great instructor and shows us the ins and outs of graffiti history and culture. The team were all so friendly and the beats didn’t miss. Although we all started with the same canvas, we had free reign on our designs and spent so much time experimenting with any creative ideas, which had to be my favourite part. Will definitely be raving about the session to anyone I know.
  • 5/5 from Jenny Gu, attended May 2023: Thanks for hosting! The spray and sip class was a great experience! The atmosphere was inviting, the instructor was knowledgeable, and the materials provided were high-quality. It was a fun way to explore spray painting. Plus, we got a tshirt and a bag. Highly recommended!
  • 5/5 from Jason Moussa, attended May 2023: I'm a full-time artist and a lifelong student of graffiti and lettering. This was a chance to learn from one of Sydney's graffiti kings. The session was definitely beginner friendly. The hosting crew was professional and friendly. Also a great idea for a venue, for the ambience as well as the t-shirt tie-in.
