What you'll do
In this joyful all-day workshop, kids will create their own Christmas-themed bunting using fluffy pom poms, colourful tassels, and natural wooden beads – a handmade decoration they’ll be proud to hang at home or gift to someone special.We’ll start the day by learning how to use pom pom makers to craft perfect yarn pom poms, with tips on trimming and shaping (or keeping them rustic if that’s more their style!). After that, we’ll dive into tassel making using festive red, green, and white yarns.In the final session, kids will bring everything together into a beautiful swag-style garland with wooden beads threaded between their creations – a tactile and joyful holiday project with plenty of room for creativity.What kids will do:
- Learn how to use pom pom makers and trim for shape and density
- Make colourful yarn tassels using simple wrapping techniques
- Design and assemble a festive bunting using their creations and wooden beads
- Enjoy a relaxed, creative environment with guidance and support

All teachers have a valid Working with Children Check that can be shown upon request.
