Welcome to Minime on the Cake's Sugar & Clay Figure Workshop.
Hi my name is Rie, call me Leah (It's a Japanese name but pronounces exactly like Leah) Over a decade ago, I started creating custom-made, look-alike fondant figurines for special occasions. These fully edible, personalized cake toppers not only added a magical touch to cakes but also filled the air with a delightful sweet aroma—captivating customers and making them an instant hit!
As demand grew, many customers wished to preserve their figurines as keepsakes. To make that possible, we introduced polymer clay, allowing these cherished miniatures to last forever.
After years of trial, refinement, and perfecting our techniques, we’re now ready to share our expert skills, special tools, and the best materials with you—so you, too, can create stunning figurines for your own special occasions!
Choose Your Crafting Medium:
Fondant Sugar
Fills the air with a delicious aroma
Fully edible (yes, tasting is included!)
Soft and delicate—best for display before enjoying
️ Fragile—can lose shape in heat and humidity
Suitable for ages 6+ and all skill levels
Polymer Clay
Durable and made to last forever
Requires more detailed crafting techniques
Includes baking, coating, and assembling for a professional finish
️ Not edible, but perfect for keepsakes
Recommended for ages 8+ and skill-building creatives
We offer seasonal-themed sessions catering to all levels—from beginners to advanced, and for both kids and adults.
