  • 5/5 from Nicki Winfield, attended Apr 2026: I attended the mother's day workshop with my son and loved the experience. This was our second parent/child workshop and we both created new pieces to build on our skills. Sindre and Rika are so welcoming and provide a wonderful atmosphere that is safe and nurturing. Sindre's knowledge is outstanding and his patience with both kids and adults is admirable! Rika is the best hostess and took some beautiful photos that we will cherish. Thank you to the whole family for a great day. I LOVE my chopping board - it is beautiful and it has already been useful... I am still not allowed to use my son's creations as they are too special to him :-) I highly recommend these workshops and look forward to another one soon.
  • 5/5 from Nicole A Sharkey, attended Apr 2026: This was possibly the best class we have ever done. The instructor was amazing, he was so clear and passionate and made sure everything was safe. he treated my child with so much respect and really took his time to answer his questions thoughtfully. The tools we created are just beautiful. His wife made amazing food and was so interesting and supportive, what a team. This is the most amazing class I wish there were more around.
  • 5/5 from Nicki, attended Feb 2026: My son and I did the parent child workshop and made a spatula and book stand. The workshop was so well run and in a great environment with wonderful tools and facilities. The teacher was patient, fun and informative. On the way home my young son said "I really like that guy. He was really nice and not bossy at all! He let me try things and have my own ideas". It was a wonderful experience and hope they run more parent child sessions as we would definitely attend.

Sindre is a Norwegian maker, tinkerer, and parent, with a background in engineering and community programs. After stepping away from corporate life, he chose to focus on what mattered most to him: working with his hands, sharing his passion for woodworking, and helping children experience the satisfaction of creating something real.
Sindre believes woodworking is more than making objects. It’s about slowing down, problem-solving, and building confidence through doing. As a parent, he understands that children learn best when they’re given time, guidance, and space to explore.
Sessions follow Scandinavian principles of simplicity and functionality. Children work independently but with guidance, developing patience, attention to detail, and practical skills in a small, supportive group.
Sindre holds a current Working With Children Check, ensuring every session is safe, welcoming, and thoughtfully run.
