Perfect for beginners, our class invites you to craft a luxury double-wicked, extra-large candle with a burn time of approximately 50 hours, and a 200ml reed diffuser with a fragrance that's uniquely yours. In this two-hour session, we'll guide you through the following process: XL Candle
- Jar Selection: We have a selection of jar colours to choose from.
- Vessel Preparation: Learn to prepare your glass vessel for the wax.
- Wick Mastery: Learn the importance of choosing the correct wick.
- Wax Selection: Discover why we choose Cocosoy wax.
- Scent Creation: Blend fragrance oils to create your signature scent.
- Candle Science: We'll guide you through all the correct ratios.
- Worksheet: Take notes as you go with our custom worksheet.
- Label Selection: Browse through our wide range of labels to find the right one for your candle.
200ml Reed Diffuser
- Jar and Lid: Select your favourite glass jar and lid.
- Scent Creation: Blend fragrance oils to create a signature scent, or match it to your candle fragrance.
- Combining: Learn how to weigh and combine the diffuser ingredients together.
- Reed Placement: Each diffuser will come with a collection of 5 reeds.
We'll provide all the materials you'll need. A worksheet will be provided during the session, so you can take notes along the way. We recommend leaving your candle behind to set after the class to prevent surface imperfections. If you must take your candle with you on the same day, please inform the teacher upon arrival. We'll do our best to prioritise your wax pouring to allow for more setting time and provide tips on transporting it home. This workshop is open to anyone over 18 years old. BYO drinks are welcome.

Your teacher
Our story began in 2018 in a small Redfern studio. With only one desk and one sewing machine, our first class was published and we haven't looked back. Our passion for the arts coupled with bringing people together, brought our vision of launching a creative hub to life. In our modern world, everything moves quickly, we have adapted to a fast-paced environment and sometimes it can be hard to slow ourselves down. Sydney Creative is a place for people to relax, regroup and find a creative outlet that will hopefully aid in bringing people a sense of achievement, fulfilment and joy. Today, our classes run from our own venue in Redfern. We run lots of different creative classes from Sewing to Jewellery, painting and lots more, we love following the trends and developing new classes for our customers to enjoy.
