In this fun educational course you will learn all about throwing trimming and the magical alchemy of glazing. Join us at Print Paint Pot Sydney's most loved pottery studio and learn the whole pottery process while treating yourself to some much needed TLCPrint Paint Pot’s course is designed for complete beginners - intermediate students who want to develop their wheel throwing skills, this course will follow a simple four week course model that will guide you through everything to do with the wonderful world of pottery Print Paint Pot’s pottery course is great value with all tools, materials and firing included. It includes stoneware clay, brush and dip glazes and firing to 1200 degree (making you pots dishwasher, oven, food and microwave safe) are included in the ticket price. You can throw and trim as many pots as you like in weeks 1, 2 and 3 with unlimited clay and you can fire up to 6 pots included in the cost. Additional pots are available to bisque and glaze for $15 each determined in week 3 before they go into a bisque firing. This course is great value perfect for beginners who are clay curious and intermediate students with experience to develop and hone in on their skills, advanced students could also benefit from this class to learn tips and tricks from teachers with 8+ years experience.Over four weeks we'll guide you through the process of making on the wheel, your course will follow the following structure:
- Week one: Studio introduction and wheel throwing
- Week two: Wheel throwing continued
- Week three: Trimming, carving and handles
- Week four: Glazing and decorating
- Students must be 12 years and older.
- You must be available on the set dates (no makeup classes).
