Your teacher

Hello there! I'm Anastasia, an artist based in Perth and I simply adore exploring the wonderful world of watercolours and alcohol inks. From a young age, I have always enjoyed drawing, but it wasn't until I made a huge shift in my life and left the oil and gas industry behind to study graphic design in Australia that I discovered the joy of using these fluid and uncontrolled media as a means of expression, self-care, and play. And when I became a mother, I realized even more how vital it is to stay connected with my creative inner self.

Then, yoga came into my world, and everything just clicked. The holistic approach of joining mind, body, and spirit resonated deeply with me, and I realized that artistic expression must begin with the reawakening of that joyful and light-hearted inner spirit. As an instructor, my main goal is to create a safe, welcoming and compassionate space in my sessions, where all individuals can experiment and discover new dimensions of themselves.

I'm proud to be a member of the Watercolour Society of WA, and as an arts instructor, I'm committed to lifelong learning. I completed a certified meditation teacher training course to deepen my understanding of yoga and meditation principles and help my students find their own peace and balance. So come on, let's make some art and good vibes together!
