Persian-inspired Cooking Class for Kids: Exploring 5 Tastes

Join this Persian-inspired cooking class for kids!

Adults & 8+ years     2 hours Class size 1 to 30     label $20 - $30 (Earlybird price of $20 applies if you book into a public session 10+ days ahead)

This vibrant Adelaide workshop takes children on a culinary journey, exploring a variety of flavours and ingredients.
In this session, kids will explore the five different taste profiles—sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami—and how these flavours can be combined to create delicious dishes.
Through this fun, interactive and hands-on class, they will have the opportunity to prepare simple recipes that highlight these tastes, appreciate and understand the food chain and production and gain valuable insights into the journey of food (from farm to table).
Kids will be able to try new flavours and even some exotic ingredients. By exploring these different tastes, they will develop a greater appreciation for the diversity of flavours in food and will enhance and educate their palate.
In our cooking school, we emphasise hands-on learning in a fun and safe environment. Children will be guided by our expert chefs, who are skilled in teaching and making the kitchen an exciting place.
By the end of the class, they will share a delightful meal with the potential for leftovers. Plus, they can expand their culinary skills and receive detailed recipes to recreate at home.
Note: Children under 10 years old should be accompanied by an adult.
