This year's theme, "Reading is Magic, " comes to life in our enchanting workshops where you'll be drawing, painting, and crafting your way to magical creations.
Learn to create eye-catching bookmarks featuring your favourite characters, whimsical cards inspired by iconic stories, and wands straight out of Harry Potter's world. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned artist, our relaxing and beginner-friendly workshops will make you feel at ease as you bring your artistic visions to life.
In these live online classes, your friendly teacher will guide you through adding personal touches and interpretations to your artwork. You'll explore fun, artistic designs, resulting in unique pieces you can gift to loved ones or keep for yourself.
Our workshops are perfect for private or group events, making them ideal for team-building activities, library events, or youth activities. If you're in Melbourne, we can even discuss coming to you for an in-person session!
Remember, the Zoom meeting locks after 5 minutes, so join on time to avoid missing out. Unfortunately, we do not offer recordings or transfers to other sessions if you're unable to attend. Also, please note, as a Victorian-based organisation, we do not accept NSW Creative Vouchers.

Myself and my collective, Rebel Stepz, believes in making the Arts accessible to our community.
We create a fun, safe, educational and creative environment where people of all ages can not only connect with each other, but also with their creativity and with the amazing talent we have facilitating our workshops.
Every workshop we hold is an opportunity for everyone to discover a facet of the arts, whether that be through painting, singing, dancing, craftwork, film, acting, dance or music.
Rebel Stepz offers fun and educational corporate team building activities globally that increase workplace wellbeing, and encourages creativity whilst improving team morale.
Workshops can be organised in person (for those based in Melbourne) or online for other areas of Australia and worldwide.
Rebel Stepz also offers live entertainment for your event which can include live musicians and dancers and even a custom piece that can be produced and choreographed especially for your event.
About me!
I commenced my dance journey at the tender age of 5, eventually earning a scholarship to The Royal Ballet London) and transitioning to full-time training by age 11. Alongside my rigorous training, I performed with The Royal Ballet Company and various European dance companies, also delving into choreography and pioneering roles in new productions.
In the early 2000s, I embarked on curating and facilitating creative workshops for community organizations, striving to democratize the arts and extend its reach to underprivileged communities. This endeavor involved collaboration with company directors, educators, and health professionals to craft inclusive and educational arts programs.
Augmenting my dance background, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Creative Writing, nurturing her passion for literature, writing, and poetry. Concurrently, she assumed the role of Assistant Manager at a West End Theatre, overseeing daily operations and Front of House management. My involvement in community radio sparked an interest in sound engineering, leading her to earn a diploma and subsequently work in the live music industry.
Upon relocating to Melbourne in 2009, I leveraged my extensive experience and network in the arts to establish Rebel Stepz. This multicultural arts organization comprises diverse talents spanning theater technicians, set and costume designers, dancers, choreographers, musicians, writers, and artists. Together with Rebel Stepz, I curate events, workshops, programs, and production packages, catering to various projects all over the world.
I persist in my multifaceted roles as a choreographer, facilitator, event manager, producer and mentor. Continuously evolving, I am presently immersed in the study of sports psychology, aiming to apply my insights to support artists and performers in their endeavors.
