Clay Play Hand Building Workshop

In this exciting workshop, you will delve into the wonderful world of hand building! Discover the art of shaping and moulding clay to create your very own unique pottery pieces to use in your home. You will learn how to handbuild two functional pieces using moulds and textured materials. Usable vessel options options include a choice of plant pots, various sized bowls, trinket dishes (2), mugs or dog bowls.No prior experience is necessary and our friendly instructor will guide you through each step with patience and encouragement. Working with tactile materials like clay can be therapeutic and meditative, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the creative process.Your work will fired and glazed using a white glaze to make it food safe and available four weeks prior to collect from the studio.Public workshops are held at our Currumbin Valley Studio 20 minutes from Burleigh Heads. Interested in a private workshop? We offer private workshops for groups of 6+ for any occasion at our studio or we can bring everything to your private residence or event. Public and private workshops at our studio include a barista made hot drink from our onsite cafe (choice of milks available). Our onsite cafe is also open to purchase snacks. Grazing boards are also available to add on for private events.
