This contemporary collage workshop is a great introduction to creating beautiful and striking collage. But it's not just for those who are new to collage; those who have cut and pasted before will also master something new during the workshop.During the workshop, you'll learn about specific collage styles, using colour, balance, texture, form, glueing and image placement. All materials are provided with over 200 books on Nature, Architecture, Photography, Sport, Science and plenty of fashion and vintage magazines sourced by the SCS.The collage class will be run by SCS founder Kubi Vasak. You’ll have three hours to create your work, we’ll spend time sorting images, creating great layout and image positioning and finally glueing works.ÂWe offer many different class genres of collage including - Portrait Collage, Landscape Collage, Abstract Collage, Nature Collage, Architecture Collage, Fashion Collage, Sports Collage or you can book a private class and we can create something bespoke to meet your needs.

The Sydney Collage Society (SCS) specialises in teaching, producing and showcasing contemporary collage art. Established in 2015, our mission is to shake up the world of contemporary collage by running creative workshops, and platform Sydney’s creative community by exhibiting locally and internationally. With numerous exhibitions under our belts, including workshops with the Art Gallery of NSW, Museums of Sydney and The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, the SCS is here to represent and share our love of collage!
