You will learn all the basics from materials, colour mixing, brush handling and all the washes, flat, gradient and wet on wet. You will also practice using texture and layering washes in your watercolour.

This course is suitable for the absolute beginner but also for the intermediate who would like to extend their skills.
  This craft kit is a great way to start painting with watercolour without spending a fortune. Stefan has put together a selection of watercolour materials with artist quality paints.

The craft kit contains:

• Rectangle watercolour palette with wells.
• Eight artist quality paints squeezed into your palette (lemon yellow, gamboshe, cadmium red, permanent rose, cerulean blue, cobalt blue, paynes grey, sepia). These will last you for some time. If you do run out you can just buy one tube of paint at the time or add new colours to your palette.
• Paper: 10 sheets (A4) of cold press 300gsm paper
• Brushes: 3 Achiever brushes, size 4, 8, 12.
• Pencil: HB and kneadable eraser.

Other items like water cups, a board and masking tape are easy to source your self.

Please note: The palette will come with eight colours, not 11 as per picture. Eight is all you need to get started! A list of materials will be supplied upon booking.
