Cook THIS book!

Hi, my name is Madushi. I was born in Sri Lanka, and emigrated to Botswana when I was 1. I grew up in Botswana but moved to London when I was 20 for university, and lived there for 14 years! I met James an Aussie (now my husband) on a work secondment to Sydney Australia in 2019. We had a baby, got married, and moved back to Sydney (in that order) in 2021.

Cooking is my happy place, a meditation, the tasty results of which I get to share with my loved ones. I learned the basics of cooking when I was very young, from my mother and also by reading and practicing my mother’s cooking books. There were many mishaps along the way, but eventually I learned how to take that basic knowledge, get inspiration from cook books and trust my intuition to cook amazing meals for my family.

I want to empower others to cook intuitively too so cooking can be the thing that gives you joy, not a chore you struggle through.
