Creative Writing Workshop: Design the Opposition

For every star, there needs to be a villain… Every main character faces opposition. Every hero/heroine must overcome conflict to reach the last chapter.Have you got what it takes to create the perfect antagonist for your protagonist?Because every hero needs someone—or something—standing in their way, I’ll provide writing exercises, insightful prompts to complete, and ideas to explore that will guide you to:

• Create an antagonist, believable rival, obstacle, or opposing force
• Understand relationship dynamics and why conflict drives story
• Build tension between protagonist and opposition to keep your readers hooked till the last page
• Leave with a stronger story concept

In this workshop, there will be two writing halves of 40 minutes each with a 10-minute half-time break to chat live, top up drinks, and refill snacks.Tonight is about you, a new writer, in a safe and easy learning environment being guided by a published author and professional writer to challenge your main character with the opposition...What you’ll get:
