Hi, I'm Jemma and the creator behind Creative Zen Handmade Studio!My creative journey began many years ago through a love of art, design, and making things by hand. What started as a personal passion quickly became a lifelong adventure of exploring different materials, techniques, and creative possibilities. One of the biggest turning points for me was discovering how everyday discarded items could be transformed into beautiful works of art. That simple idea—that something old can become something extraordinary—continues to inspire me every day.At Creative Zen Handmade Studio, I love helping people discover that creativity isn't about being "artistic"—it's about being curious, having fun, and allowing yourself to create something uniquely your own. There's something truly special about working with your hands, learning a new skill, and watching a beautiful piece of artwork come to life from materials that might otherwise have been thrown away.Teaching is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. Seeing someone arrive feeling unsure and leave with confidence, new skills, and a creation they're proud of never gets old. I love sharing the techniques, tips, and lessons I've gathered through years of experience in arts and design, and helping others unlock their own creative potential.Something many people don't know is that some of the most beautiful artworks can come from the simplest recycled materials. A piece of cardboard, old paper, fabric scraps, or forgotten treasures can become stunning art with a little imagination.
