What you'll do
Searching for creative kids activities in Sydney? Join fabulous teacher and artist Kate De Kantzow from The Card That Kate Made for an hour and a half of painting and drawing every Saturday morning in Randwick.
During this hands-on and creative class, kids will:
- Learn to draw from observation and the imagination
- Learn how to use different drawing materials such as soft pastels, charcoal and pencils
- Explore watercolour techniques
- Practise using acrylics to create finished artworks
- Be inspired and choose your own creative path
- Have fun with creativity in a nurturing environment
They will finish up with a range of artworks and the confidence to continue creating at home.
Little Ginger Studio is a process-based, child-centred studio that values the process of art-making over product and the individual journeys students take to get there.

Danielle created this space 4 years ago to nurture kids' creativity and build a community of makers & crafters. She is mum to our feisty studio name-sake, a qualified Primary teacher and experienced Art Educator.
We believe that "Art makes Children Powerful" and love to provide kids with stimulating & exciting materials (often recycled) to see what they come up with.
