What you'll do
This masterclass is for those who can throw a small cylinder and want to learn throwing bigger cylinders, plates, and various shapes.
You will get the best out of this masterclass if you already know how to throw an even and symmetrical cylinder size of a cup. If you don't, you can start with our beginners classes and practice your throwing skills a bit before you sign up for this masterclass.
In this three hour masterclass you will watch and have time to practice the following demonstrations: spiral wedging, centring larger amounts of clay on the wheel, throwing a taller cylinder, shaping a sphere-shaped vase, throwing a plate, throwing off the hump, and throwing a double-walled vessel.
The class price includes all your materials and you can keep three of the pieces you throw. Trimming and glazing of these pieces is not included and will need to be done separately in a returning student class.

What to bring
Please wear casual clothes and shoes. Long hair needs to be pulled back and nails need to be trimmed. Please bring an apron.
