‘Mindful eating’ is one mealtime skill that can fit with any healthy eating style. This practice involves applying simple mindfulness techniques to the process of eating.

Research has shown that eating mindfully may help you to eat smaller portions and fewer calories and reduce emotional eating. Taking a more “mindful” approach to eating can enhance the enjoyment of your meals, aid good digestion, reduce anxious thoughts surrounding food, and improve your overall relationship with food.

In this one-hour live online workshop, you will learn what mindfulness is and how mindfulness can transform our struggles with food and renew our sense of pleasure, appreciation and satisfaction with eating food.

During the one-hour workshop we will cover:

  • What is mindful eating
  • Hungry vs non-hungry eating
  • How to deal with boredom
  • The mindful eating approaches
  • Minimising mealtime distractions
  • Establishing new habits

At the end of this workshop, you will feel equipped with mindful eating techniques that you can implement in your mealtimes at home.

I am an accredited Mindfulness Facilitator specialising in corporate programs. I am a registered Mindfulness Facilitator with the Australian and International Meditation Teachers Associations, a Genos Emotional Intelligence Assessor and Coach, NLP Practitioner,Mental Health First Aid Trainer and a Registered Sleep Coach.

I also teach community mindfulness programs for adults and children. My own children’s “Zen Warrior” Mindfulness Program is featured on Qantas in-flight entertainment via Kinderling Kid's radio.
