During one of our tour and tasting experiences, you'll visit an operating oyster farm at Mooney Mooney before taking a boat tour of oyster leases on the Hawkesbury River.
Taste freshly shucked Broken Bay, Sydney Rock and Pacific Oysters straight from the source and learn more about the amazing flavours you are experiencing from our qualified tour guide.
Package options:
- Option one: Oyster farm tour by boat only, two hours: $90 per person
- Option two: Oyster farm tour by boat followed by an in-water dining experience, two and a half to three hours: $195 per person
- Option three: Oyster farm tour by boat followed by gourmet lunch on a secluded beach, up to five hours: $295 per person

Please note:
- Tours are dependent on minimum numbers, if the river is closed for harvest oysters will be sourced from another estuary.
- Travellers need to be independently mobile to access and disembark the boat and tour sites.
- In the event of rain, fresh live oysters will be harvested from a nearby unaffected estuary.

Our family run oyster farm has been supplying oysters to the Sydney market for over 15 years. Our farm is situated on the pristine waters of the Hawkesbury River, only a 45 minute drive from Sydney's CBD. Come behind the scenes and taste the freshest oysters of your life, from our farm-gate to your plate!
Did you know oyster farming is considered one of the most sustainable types of farming compared to other forms of aquaculture as they have a very minimal burden on the environment. This is because oysters draw their nutrients directly from the environment and require no additional feeding therefore it is extremely clean and less impactful on the surrounding ecosystem.
Sydney Oyster Farm Tours guides people through our operating Broken Bay oyster farm for an authentic oyster farm experience. Customers get to meet second and third generation oyster farmers, visit the oyster leases on the Hawkesbury River, and taste the famous Broken Bay Oysters.
