What you'll do
Learn how to paint one of Monet's most classic images, a glorious set of water-lilies in a peaceful pond, in this relaxing paint and sip class in Brisbane.
In this beginner's painting class, we will be using an impressionist technique, focusing on capturing the feel of this beautiful scene. Your friendly teacher will guide you through the entire process step-by-step.
You will be provided with paints, paintbrushes, an easel, painting apron and a canvas on which to paint your masterpiece. Be sure to bring a bottle of wine or drink of your choice to help get the creativity flowing. Plus, enjoy a glass of bubbles on arrival.
You will leave this class with a gorgeous impressionistic style artwork that even Monet would be proud of!

Great friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable teachers, and lots more brush sizes to choose from than other classes I’ve been to which I thought was great.
I think the quality and variety in the artwork surpasses other companies I’ve seen too. Will definitely be back

So fun Great for beginners and the time flew! Loved the painting I took home. Would love a bit more one on one and perhaps a little more on painting technique though realise that is tough with a big group. Overall loved it thank you and the extras of local chocolate , take home painting pack and donations option were awesome too.

This class was my first visit to The PaintBar, and it was well worth it. It was great fun, and good value for money. All materials supplied, and our teacher (Nicole) explained everything really well and was available to assist if required. There was also no rush in finishing our work. A very relaxed atmosphere! The venue was also great!

Really enjoyed the class. Teacher was motivated, enthusiastic and full of praise and encouragement. Venue was well prepared with adequate resources. Maybe lower volume on the music or a relaxing different style. I was very happy with my first attempt at water lilies. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

Great teacher, loved her style of teaching. Fantastic music taste as well. I've not done any painting since high school but I found it entertaining, and enjoyed the atmosphere. The painting was relatively forgiving as the colours all melded together at some point. I did struggle to keep up sometimes and wish there was even just half an hour longer to do the final touches, but I understand that's difficult to accommodate. The value for what you got out of it was amazing - all supplies needed were provided and at the end of the night you got a unique painting of your own to take home. Will definitely do this again. Thanks! :)
