What you'll do
The tradition of the mask started in the 13th century when Venetians would hold celebrations and parties from December 26th until the start of Lent and wear elaborate masks to conceal their identity.
In this unique Venetian-inspired mask painting class, you will learn how to create your own stunning masterpiece in the comfort of your own home. Discover the art of painting and design as you unleash your creativity and design a one-of-a-kind creation.
Don't worry if you're new to painting – our easy-to-follow instructions will have you creating beautiful masks. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process, ensuring a fun and stress-free experience.
Using a variety of materials and techniques, you'll have the chance to experiment and bring your vision to life. The class will be a hands-on experience, allowing you to explore different styles and express your personality through your artwork.
By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a beautiful Venetian-inspired mask, filled with your unique flair and creativity. Let your imagination run wild in this exciting and engaging activity.

- We are Victorian-based and therefore do not accept NSW Creative Vouchers.

Each session is also a chance to support local artists, dancers, musicians, and all the other artistic professionals we are lucky enough to have right here in Melbourne and worldwide.

Workshops can be organised in person (for those based in Melbourne) or online for other areas of Australia.
