What you'll do
Looking for fun things to do in Drysdale? Join local Bellarine artist, Beth Sternbeck in this one off class in her "a few of my favourite things" series and learn how to paint your own tree of life like Klimt!
Throughout Klimts work, he returned again and again to the cycle of life. His painting of the tree of life is a joyful image of spring flowers, personal symbols and gold Leunig like swirls.
In this workshop you will create your own Tree of Life, using images and symbols that have meaning to you. We will be working to recreate those distinctive styles in acrylic paint, and embellish with your own personalised style collage, allowing for layering and texturing in this one-day class.
By the time you finish for the day, you will have a completed canvas, which will be uniquely personalised by you of The Tree Of Life to take home and hang with pride.
There will be a break for morning tea, as well as a longer break in the session to enjoy a delicious lunch at Succulents Restaurant (included in your class booking fee).
