Our private cooking space as part of regular practice, is disinfected with food grade sanitiser along with all equipment and materials. Gloves are available and frequent washing of hands is already part of our cooking class schedule.

Calling all pasta connoisseurs! This pasta making class is for people who love Italian cuisine and seriously want to get a handle on how to make pasta including three of Italy’s most famous food staples - fettuccine, ravioli and tortellini with a spinach and ricotta filling.

You won’t need to dine out to experience beautiful handmade pasta anymore. By the end of this SMC session, you’ll be a whiz in the Italian culinary art of pasta making, taking home all the pointers you need to recreate these masterpieces for your family and friends.

This pasta masterclass delves deep to give you clues on how to create fresh pasta from scratch with the SMC’s own pasta dough recipe. Then you’ll learn how to shape the dough into elongated fettuccine, learn how to make ravioli and tortellini dumplings (including crucial tricks to make sure they don’t fall apart when they hit the boiling water!)

Over three hours you will learn:
How to make and knead pasta dough.
How to roll out pasta dough using a pasta machine.
How to turn the pasta sheets into fettuccine, ravioli, and tortellini with spinach and ricotta filling.

After all the hard work is done you will sit back with a glass of vino and enjoy this fresh pasta paired with homemade sauces and lashings of parmesan.

**Note – please allow a reasonable amount of time to enter The Gateway Building and proceed to Level 2 for this class that begins at 1 pm.

Please note that private group bookings incur an additional flat rate surcharge of $150 per class. Private group bookings can add a bottomless drinks pack for an additional $40 per person for the duration of the class - just let us know when you make your request.

This class was one of the best experiences I’ve shared with my boyfriend since he arrived in Australia from the U.K. Our teacher Sarah made the class so enjoyable from the moment we got there until the class was over as she was so lovely, knowledgable and patient with all of the participants.

Not only was the class incredibly fun and informative but also absolutely delicious and exceeded both of our expectations!

Excellect teacher. Great value for money. Not only did I get all the skills to master pasta making I also received pizza, wine or soft drink & we ate our pasta together. Everyone mingled well.
Only recommendation is clearer instructions on the address as #1 is a site development a local pub had to show me where to go.
