LOVED this class! I was lucky enough on this occasion to have a very small class size and so had a lot of individual attention. Jenie explained everything I needed to know very clearly and carefully, with a strong emphasis on safety - essential when working with sharp glass. She also had lots of examples of actual finished pieces to illustrate her explanations - both the good outcomes and the ones to avoid.
Jenie explained the technique then allowed the student to make own choices from the many options available - so many beautiful glass colours and types.
The studio is really cute and very well organised, with lots of examples of Jenie's own work providing colour and inspiration.
There are many other classes on offer from Jenie and I am keen to return and work on some more projects.
The time flew by today and unfortunately I was having such a lovely time chatting and talking all things glass that I forgot to photograph my workI am excited to return to collect it and see the finished product. I highly recommend this class.

We had a warm welcome and all the help we needed to make a beautiful end product.
The workshop space was prepared with everything we needed and was very calming- surrounded by many gorgeous plants.
I have no hesitation in recommending this workshop as a fun activity on your own or with friends- you will come away with a lovely vertical garden and armed with the information and tools you need to keep it thriving.

What a unique, fun class!
We first made a paperweight, which was 1:1 with the teacher, Nick. He was very patient, knowledgeable; he explained things carefully and accurately, which was essential given we were working with red-hot molten glass.
We then went on to work as a team to create a tumbler each. One person blowing, one person working the glass, and another assisting by "blocking" etc.
It was lots of fun and we smiled and laughed, even as we felt nervous, managing new skills with dangerous (hot!) materials.
We have each made unique/quirky/hand made items and felt a sense of achievement.
I thoroughly recommend this class.

I really enjoyed learning to make a glass paperweight.
Because we used a furnace and needed guidance to do it safely, there was a lot of teacher support. It might have been good to go on to make a second one straight away, to have a sense of having learnt some of the techniques involved.
I will be back to do some more!

A small class size and an informative teacher made this a great class. It was a lovely set of techniques to learn - "there are no mistakes" and pleasing to come away with a couple of examples of what can be done. I look forward to future "zentanglements" and creating some unique cards.

I had a great day learning to make a glass light catcher. The teacher was great - patient and knowledgeable, venue was great - set up perfectly with enough equipment for everyone, lunch and coffee were great- all in all a great day out and worth every cent.
