The teacher was friendly, calm, patient and helpful. The casting options from his available pendant collection were very souvenir-shop-themed. But he does explain what types of objects make good molds and bad molds. If you'd not be happy wearing a koala, turtle, dragonfly, or Hei Matau around your neck or to gift, bringing in a pendant or keyring charm you would like a silver copy of wouldn't go astray (bearing in mind it has to be pretty flat without complicated/protruding boundaries). I wouldn't recommend this activity in summer if you're averse to heat. The steep learning curve is challenging but also enables you to really get in the zone. I have a mind to come back with some new casting ideas.

Silver Casting Jewellery Making Class review by Annette Learey - Brisbane

I appreciated learning how to create dishes by an actual Thai chef with previous restaurant experience. His knowledge of what ingredients to buy and what quality to look for was invaluable. Being that I had done the Japanese class with this teacher before I had high hopes for his Thai class and he didn’t disappoint.

Authentic Thai Cooking Class: Part One review by Annette Learey - Brisbane

My partner and I had a great afternoon learning how to make Udon noodles in dashi stock, gyoza, and nigiri. The teacher was friendly and easy to understand and would come and help when you asked. The recipe instructions that each table had were also easy to understand. All of the menial vegetable prep and dishwashing was done by the staff so we got to focus our time learning the more complicated steps. I'm keen to go back again and do the Thai classes as our teacher was a Thai chef.
