It was wonderful to do another class with the lovely Michelle. She is so welcoming, informative and easy to talk to. I was really keen to learn this new soapmaking skill so that I could have the confidence to try it by myself at home. I am so happy with my 6 pink soaps. I'm also super excited to do further classes with Michelle that are currently in the planning stage and hopefully on offer in early 2024. Thank you Michelle for a well paced and relaxing morning.

I was happy with the finished product but I felt that we were given very little guidance with no real instructions given. It appeared that the teacher was not familiar with the studio at all and therefore didn't know where to find extra resources that were needed. The teacher appeared very distracted by trying to find Christmas music to play on her phone thus forgetting the assistance that she was in the middle of giving us. At one point the teacher seemed to be making her own decorations. Both the owner of the studio and the teacher were lovely ladies but I found the whole experience quite different to any other Class Bento class.

It was lovely to work with Sharon again and make some earrings at the intermediate level. I was really pleased with the results. Sharon had so many designs to select from. You can't go wrong with one of Sharon's classes. She is so friendly, relaxed and easy going. Looking forward to another class with Sharon in the future.

It was a lovely day working with Mel again today. I got some great advice about soap making with exfoliants and was pleased to try out some new fragrances. I feel confident now to go home and experiment with creating swirls in my melt and pour soaps. I'm looking forward to attending Mel's next classes especially the gemstone pillar candle and the compress soap.

It was great to do a workshop with Mel again. I feel like I've understood the candle making process a bit better after today. I've come away with tealights, a candle and lots of Christmas melts which I'll be giving away as Christmas presents.

It was so lovely to meet the gorgeous Michelle and be welcomed into her beautiful home (wish I lived there). Everything was well set up beforehand and there was plenty of options to choose from. Michelle explained the candle making process at a great pace that was easy to understand and follow. She has such a wealth of tips and tricks to make stunning candles. I was really pleased to make pieces that were more unique. I can't wait to book into another of Michelle's classes. Thank you for a relaxing and creative get-together.

I had such a wonderful and relaxing afternoon making earrings with Natalia and a lovely group of ladies. Natalia explained everything so clearly and she was so organised and well set up beforehand. The venue was very inviting and cosy. I am so impressed with my stash of earrings and will be giving some away as gifts.

This is my second class with Mel and I loved every minute of it. Mel is so calm, patient and positive. The class is such great value for money as you go home with heaps and heaps of soap. It is really exciting to learn new and different skills with each of Mel's classes. I'm looking forward to booking into Mel's next soapmaking class which will be more advanced again.

This was my third workshop with the very patient and calm Sheri. Again it was a wonderful class. I was surprised with how easy it was and the results are amazing. I'm going to have a go at making them with my Year 1 students. I think they'll love it.

This was such a terrific class and I was so impressed with how many soaps we got to make and take home. Our teacher Mel was so passionate about her love for her craft and sharing it with others. I am definitely signing up for her next class so that I can expand upon what I have already learnt. Such a relaxed afternoon with a group of lovely ladies.

Thank you Liz for another great Resin class. This was my third class with you and today I made a beautiful clock which is something I have been aiming for with my resin work. I'm looking forward to your April class when we'll be making river boards. Thank you for all of your help today.

I have been wanting to make a river board for such a long time. I had done a few Resin classes previously and I was working myself up to achieving this goal. The teacher at DIY Invasion was amazing. She was so patient and she explained everything slowly and precisely. I really loved the venue and having a cafe attached was a bonus. Now I know that I can do it I've already got an idea of the next one I'd like to complete.

I had a wonderful afternoon making 2 pairs of polymer earrings with Sharon. I wasn't sure that I'd be creative enough to do this workshop but once shown the basics it's actually quite easy. Sharon has a huge range of colours and tools. She has the patience of a saint. I feel confident that I could now have a go at creating more earrings on my own. I'm looking forward to purchasing my own materials and booking into one of the Intermediate classes with Sharon.

This is my second class with Liz and again it was a fantastic workshop. It was also great to have her husband along to assist as he is also a wealth of knowledge when it comes to resin. Liz's classes are always very well set up and prepared beforehand. The class was certainly more streamlined than when I resin at home.
Today I achieved exactly what I set out to achieve - a beach themed cheeseboard. I was really keen to learn this bubble technique.

Thank you LIz for a lovely afternoon creating resin boards and serving trays. I really liked the experience of working on your demo board first with the resins and the heat before starting on our own. Liz provided us with a huge range of boards to select from. The venue was very well set up for workshops. I wish I had a room like that at home. I look forward to more resin workshops with Liz.

It was wonderful working with Caroline again at her studio. I wished that I could have stayed there all day playing around with resin and colours. I'm really looking forward to picking up the earrings in a week when they are set. In the end I think I made about 12 pairs of earrings and a pendant. I can't wait to give them away to friends and family for Christmas and tell them that I made them.
I always float away to my happy place when I do workshops with Caroline. Next I want to book in for the Christmas baubles workshop.

I absolutely loved my resin board class with Sheri. She is so patient and relaxed and explains everything so clearly. Sheri's classes always make you feel so proud of yourself. I am addicted to resin workshops and am looking to book my next one soon.

From the moment I arrived and was greeted at the gate by Caroline and her dog I felt like I was crafting with a friend. Caroline was so friendly, easy going and generous. She supported me every step of the way and I created two little cheeseboards as well as some extra designs in moulds. The class was very casual. Caroline is a true artist and very addicted to her craft and to helping people. You can learn so many different crafts at her home studio. I'd love to book again to make Christmas baubles and a painting. Thank you Caroline for a lovely afternoon.

Kerry was very warm and friendly and her shop and workshop were a source of inspiration. I created a beautiful cheeseboard and coasters and I can't wait to pick them up and use them with family and friends and tell them I made it. I think I am addicted to resin and plan to go back to create more for Christmas presents. Thanks Kerry.

I really loved my first ever candle making class. Sheri was very prepared and she explained all of the processes and the theory so clearly and at an appropriate pace. The venue was easy to find and was a great creative space for a small group. Sheri is very knowledgeable about candle making and we all came away with beautiful candles and melts. I will definitely be attending more of her classes, perhaps Resin.
