Eco Resin style has taken over the interior design world and is all the rage in homewares. Learn how to make your very own custom terrazzo or marble effect homewares in this hands-on workshop at Northgate, Brisbane!
Your teacher Sheri Vegas has worked with all different types of resin for many years and in this workshop, she will show you how you can achieve stylish terrazzo/ marble homewares using eco acrylic resins. This workshop is for you if you are looking to mix it up a bit while spending some time with your loved ones/ friends or come by yourself and reconnect to your creativity in a fun and relaxed environment! You'll finish this class with the custom homewares pieces you design and made yourself. Feel free to bring along any snacks and drinks of your choice if you like.
Choose to make either:
- Set of coasters
- Set of candle stick holders
- Trinket tray
What you'll learn:
1. Learn about the product
2. Safety
3. How to measure out and mix eco resin aka acrylic resin
4. You will learn how to add and mix colours to the acrylic resin to create your own choice of custom
5. Different techniques and effects you can create
6. How to create your own terrazzo piece
7. Cast the acrylic resin terrazzo mix into a mould
8. How to finish off your custom homewares with sanding and sealing.
From this workshop, you will leave with an understanding of how to keep creating more eco resin inspired homewares pieces at home.
At the end of the class, everyone will leave with their finished pieces and the confidence to continue working with eco resin.
This class is suitable for children 13 and up with a guardian to help them when working with the eco resin. 15 and up may be unsupervised.

If you’re wanting to do this workshop as a private party please note that if you have less than 7 people there is a $170 studio hire fee on top of the cost of the class. If you have 7 or more there is no studio hire fee.

Sheri Vegas is a Brisbane based abstract artist specialising in Resin Art and Flow acrylic painting. Sheri has always had a passion for art since she was young and has received multiple art and creative design awards. She is passionate about sharing her love for resin art and has created a beginners resin art workshops, so you can also develop your own passion for this unique art form.
