Overall, the tufting class for beginners was a labour of love. The teachers were very supportive, kind, patient and gave us tips. There were a good variety of colours provided to make the rug.

The experience was very interesting with my friend because the tufting gun was surprisingly very heavy. So be prepared to be sore for a good cause! :D It took us 4.5hours to finish tufting our rugs. Tufting is labour intensive but with breaks and time for rug shaving, it was quite relaxing. I recommend if you want a good work out!

P.S. did not take it on the train. (:

This was the first time attending a Turkish mosaic lamp class and it was very therapeutic. The venue was just a few minutes walk from the station. My friend and I had a lot of fun designing and decorating our lamps together. Our instructor was very kind and provided delicious Turkish delights with tea! Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants to de-stress or have a good time! :D
